Built into a forested hillside, at Mountain Center, California, the house is spread over two staggered levels.

On the lower level, the living area opens up to a pool that feels like it’s part of the surrounding nature – the perfect spot to unwind or find inspiration. Upstairs, the bedroom offers incredible views, while the studio and a small gallery are tucked in the back near the public entrance, giving you space to work and showcase your creations.

The materials are natural and timeless: light-colored travertine walls blend beautifully with the environment, and copper-framed windows and doors add a touch of warmth and character. Surrounded by trees, rocks, and sunlight, this retreat is more than just a house – it’s a peaceful escape and a space to create, right in the heart of nature.
